I have uploaded my webpage, but I still continue
to see the old one?

Don't worry, this is a very common problem and easy to fix. Your computer "caches" the web page when you view it. This way if you go back within a few hours, it doesn't have to reload the page from the server. On most browsers simply press F5 to force a reload or go to the browser's navigation bar and press the reload icon. This should bring up your new page.

if that doesn't work, try holding down 'shift' while clicking the refresh icon in your browser.

If that doesn't work, try this.

Internet Explorer 7

1. From the Tools menu, select Delete Browsing History....
2. Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files....
3. Click Yes, and then click Close to exit.

 

Firefox 3 for Windows and Mac OS X

1. In Firefox, from the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
2. Make sure Cache is checked, and then click Clear Private Data Now.

 

Safari

1. From the Safari menu, select Empty Cache....
2. When prompted, click Empty to confirm that you want to empty the cache.

 

Chrome

1. Click the wrench icon on the right side next to the address bar, then click on Clear Browsing Data....
2. When prompted, select only Cache and click Clear Browsing Data to finish.
