WebCalendar v1.2.0

After installing WebCalendar v1.2.0 with Fantastico, you will get a list of error messages anytime you try to change any preferences or settings. The problem lies with the cache directory for the MySQL database. On our server, Fantastico has the setting.php file set incorrectly.

The errors will look something like this:

Warning: unlink(/tmp/759c8157f00666b856a26f572cc984a5.dat) [function.unlink]: Operation not permitted in /home/content/p/a/c/pack750admin/html/webcalendar/includes/dbi4php.php on line 828

Warning: unlink(/tmp/a8bf0420b45c119fcd0e244c3ca8f71b.dat) [function.unlink]: Operation not permitted in /home/content/p/a/c/pack750admin/html/webcalendar/includes/dbi4php.php on line 828

Warning: unlink(/tmp/a78065287640f614d2b4e22534e22e71.dat) [function.unlink]: Operation not permitted in /home/content/p/a/c/pack750admin/html/webcalendar/includes/dbi4php.php on line 828

Solution: Download the include/settings.php file from the webcalendar directory and open with a text editor. Edit the db_cachedir line to read as the following: db_cachedir: /home/username/tmp_cal (replace username with your control panel login id). Now save and use ftp to upload the settings.php file back into the include directory. This should fix your problem!
